DinkusKit

Commerce for EmDash

How DinkusKit fits together.

Useful pieces you add one at a time, run by you from the admin, with your own agent helping where you allow it.

Your EmDash site is the store

Your products, orders and pages live in your own EmDash site. Don't have one yet? Follow the official EmDash install guide. The DinkusKit Template Store comes with shop pages ready to go; another theme needs product, cart and checkout pages added.

Each plugin does one job

Commerce keeps your products, prices, checkout and orders. Payments connects your one card processor, Stripe today. Ship buys USPS labels on your own Pitney Bowes postage account. Each fact lives in one place, so nothing drifts out of sync. Inventory and Coupons are optional extras still to come.

Your DinkusKit account approves each connection

Install the plugins from the EmDash Registry, press Connect in each one, Commerce first, and approve it at DinkusKit.com. Nothing is pasted, and each plugin gets only its own key. Want to see a store first? Try the playground, where every visitor gets their own throwaway store.

People and agents use the same tools

An agent works through the same routes the admin uses, and each one gets only the access you give it, with a key you can take back. Today an agent can read and complete orders; managing products is coming next. DinkusKit's own assistants are optional, and they get no powers you can't see.

Ways to run it

Today your store runs on your own EmDash site and uses DinkusKit's hosted services for your account, payments and labels. Planned: running those services in your own Cloudflare account, so you don't depend on us. Not offered yet: a managed service where someone runs the store for you.
